406 Security Incident Detected

UnoEuro uses an advanced filtering system (Web Application Firewall) to prevent and block attacks, abuses and exploitation of vulnerabilities in our customers' websites.

If this filter picks up what it thinks is an attempt to abuse your site, it will display a 406 error and disconnect for that particular visitor. This can be e.g too many failed login attempts, unauthorized HTTP queries, or IP address visits known for attack and spam.

In special cases it may make sense to turn off the security filter on your web hotel, this is done by adding the following to your .htaccess file:

<IfModule security2_module>
    SecRuleRemoveByTag unoeuro
</IfModule>

To do this for a single IP, you can use the following:

<IfModule security2_module>
    <If "-R '127.0.0.1'">
        SecRuleRemoveByTag unoeuro
    </If>
</IfModule>

It is also possible to do for a particular file using this following format:

<IfModule security2_module>
    <If "%{REQUEST_URI} =~ m#/modules/webhook.php#">
        SecRuleRemoveByTag unoeuro
    </if>
</IfModule>

This is of course at your own risk. Often it is better to solve the cause of the blockage, rather than to remove the security filter - which generally contributes to better security and performance on your website.
